I’m a Fitfluential Ambassador!

Today I have a VERY exciting announcement to share with you all: I am a Fitfluential Ambassador!

If you’re not familiar with Fitfluential, it is a network of influential fitness enthusiasts sharing their journey both online and offline through various social media platforms (paraphrased from the Fitfluential website). Fitfluential is all about promoting balance through four primary areas: Eat, Sleep, Move, Enjoy. I can get behind that message! Fitfluential Ambassadors are fitness enthusiasts and influencers.

The fact that I am considered influential enough to be a part of this network literally blows my mind. After seeing that some of my favorite bloggers are Fitfluential Ambassadors, I decided to apply last year. I honestly never thought I would get accepted, but figured I would give it a try.

Let me just paint a picture for you of how I reacted when I got the email saying I was accepted as a Fitfluential Ambassador:

I was sitting in the office where I am doing my research fellowship, aka a public space so I couldn’t scream out loud like I wanted to. Instead, I did one of those internal squeals where your mouth is closed but you still make the tiniest audible noise. I then started flapping my arms and hands around a lot. This is apparently something I do when I’m excited. I immediately texted my boyfriend, who of course had no idea what Fitfluential is. I’m pretty sure I did a horrible job explaining it to him, but being the best boyfriend ever he was excited for me and proud.

I’m beyond excited to see what opportunities this opens up for me and the blog in the future. Since I will be moving back to Philadelphia in June (eek!), I feel I will be able to better share some of my favorite healthy eating and fitness resources with my U.S. readers. I want to start sharing some more healthy eating and fitness tips, in addition to my usual (mostly) healthy recipes. I would love to hear if there is anything you would like to see more of on the blog!
