Wow- I don’t know why it took me so long to discover sugar free granola or protein milk, but today it all went down in my kitchen. This sugar free granola is very slightly adapted from Fit Fun and Fantastic!’s blog and gets an extra boost of protein from some puffed amaranth (you could also used puffed quinoa or omit and replace with more oats). I had seen some pictures on Instagram of cereal and oatmeal with “protein milk” but had never tried it myself. The addition of a banana is great for adding some sweetness and masking the protein powder taste a bit.
Now this is what I call a protein packed and delicious breakfast!
