This smoothie was inspired by an amazing smoothie from Red Mango called The Berry Power Protein. I was working across from Red Mango this summer and had this smoothie at least three times in that short time (I had to keep myself from getting it twice a week). I really prefer making my own smoothies at home because I can completely control the type and amount of ingredients that go into it, making it a much healthier choice than most sugar filled smoothies you can find out. This one packs quite a punch with vanilla protein powder and peanut butter. You could also add some chia seeds to increase the protein even more.
How cool is this board painted with chalkboard paint that my boyfriend made for me!?
I obviously need a little work writing with the chalk…
